2026-27 ACSA Academy for Public Scholarship on the Building Environment Cohort
The Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA) announced the 2026–27 cohort of the Academy for Public Scholarship on the Built Environment. Twelve architecture faculty members have been selected to participate in this year’s program, which focuses on the timely theme of Spatial Determinants of Health.
The Academy equips architecture faculty with the tools and training to engage broader audiences and bring academic knowledge into public discourse. Through virtual workshops, peer exchange, mentorship, and expert-led sessions, participants will strengthen their ability to write, communicate, and engage as public scholars—translating research into accessible and actionable contributions to issues shaping cities and communities.
Ian Caine will work with colleagues on the ACSA Research & Scholarship Committee to administer the 2026–27 Academy, helping participants strengthen their public scholarship and extend the reach and impact of their research.
